education

The Young Musicians Academy of Fontys Conservatorium in Tilburg is the successor of the Young Talent class. Here, Ms Jelena Bazova is my teacher. Next to piano lessons, the students at YMA have a choir, music theory, group lessons and chamber music. Ms Jelena encourages en stimulates her students greatly; many of them won prizes at competitions. YMA organises special workshops and concerts. I started playing the piano when I was 9 at Muziek Praktijk ‘Op Maat’ in Tiel. Annelies Nooteboom was my teacher at the time for a year.
